The 14th May 2012 will see Insight Investigations attending The Home Affairs Committee Seminar as part of its enquiry into the operations and role of private investigators.
Alongside other WAPI members, we will be attending the event to voice our opinions and discuss the future of our beloved profession after a turbulent past 12 months of negative publicity due to the actions of rogue private investigators operating in the sector.
The seminar is being held at The Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House; there will be an opening keynote speech from the former Information Commissioner Richard Thomas, followed by an open group discussion where everybody can make their views known and share ideas on how private investigator regulation can work.
This event marks a great opportunity for legitimate private investigators to have their say and to help ensure the profession is regulated the right way and moves on from these dark times. Both Insight and WAPI are proud to have been invitied to this important event and feel that it could have an extremely positive bearing on the future of private investigators as a whole.
We have long spoke of regulation and the need for any investigator to operate within the law, hopefully this dream will become a reality in the near future.
