arrowObservations

Observations have, and always will play a huge role in the investigation industry. Evidence gathered through observations is typically the most convincing evidence available in court – and can be the difference between proving and disproving several cases, providing it has been carried out in an appropriate and legal manner, and that video documentation has taken place.

Sometimes the only way to get the evidence needed in a case is to have feet on the ground; people who can see and report what your [partner/business partner/director/staff] is/are doing on a daily basis.

Despite there being a number of DIY observation gadgets available on the market, in most cases we highly recommend hiring a professional and thorough team of investigators to carry out this observation on your behalf. This gives the Court wholly unbiased evidence from which to take a decision.  We are also very aware of what Courts require when examining a matter and present our evidence in a manner that is acceptable in ALL UK Courts.

Insight have over 30 years of experience in all types of Observations, making regular use of sophisticated camera and video equipment in order to provide good quality evidence to be used in a court of law. We also have access to a range of observation equipment, if the complexities of an investigation demand it.

Cases such as fraudulent benefit and insurance claims, employees theft, gathering evidence for anti-social behaviour and monitoring extra-marital affairs are all part of an investigator’s role, in getting to the truth of a situation for clients.

Observations for Insurance Fraud

Insurance-related observations are a major element of an investigators work, as Claim Adjusters do not have the time of resources to investigate whether claimants are telling the truth. Therefore, in scenarios where there is a case for reasonable doubt, using observations helps to give an unbiased view of what actions a claimant has undertaken, especially if the claim pertains to personal injury.
